Nashville Family Photography: The Bury Family

I love love love getting to photograph people I know. It is just a different dynamic when you photograph friends. As much as I try to get to know my clients previous to a shoot (which is why I ~~beg~~ ask them to have coffee beforehand), it is amazing to be able to photograph people that you love.

About 4 years ago, I became friends with Lindsay and Stefan. Fast forward a few years and we have been in each others weddings, travelled the world together, and I can definitely say that they are some of our dearest friends in Nashville. I also have gotten to know her family pretty well over the years, and they are amazing. So when Linds told me that she and her siblings were giving their parents a photoshoot for Christmas, I was pumped.

Despite the fact that about 150 high school kids in prom dresses and tuxedos showed up to Percy Warner about 15 minutes after we started, the kids (and adults) did amazingly well. {Note to self: avoid the park on Saturday nights during prom season.}
