Nashville Engagement Photography: Jaimee & Travis

It is always so lovely when you know two people separately and then after spending time with them together as a couple, you like them even more. Jaimee and Travis are two wonderful and kind individuals on their own, but it was amazing to see how well they balance each other and bring out the best in the other person. I would say Jaimee is not someone who is easily impressed…which makes it all the more fun that Travis won her over and makes her laugh so much. They bonded over a shared love of coffee and the New York Times through their relationship, which we incorporated into their session. When I commented that the cloudy weather during their engagement shoot suited their personalities better (which after jokingly asking me if “I thought they were gloomy?!”, they agreed), I meant that it represented their contemplative and thoughtful natures. I couldn’t help but smile while working on these photos. Hope you enjoy them as well!
