Photography in the Modern South: What does the "modern south" mean? For me, it means tradition with a twist. Think front porches, comfort food, bowties, nice manners...meets urban farming, pinterest projects, thrift store shopping, breaking the rules...and top it off with a little splash of "bless their heart." I live in Charleston (definitely the modern south), but am also available to travel worldwide.

Pepper Plantation Wedding: Paige & Ryan

Paige and Ryan had a lovely Pepper Plantation wedding at the end of April and we couldn’t have asked for a better day! Their wedding was full of thoughtful details….oysters for cocktail hour, a live wedding painter, cigars for their guests…and my favorite part of Pepper Plantation…the horses! 🙂 These two are so fun and laid back it made the entire day very relaxed and enjoyable to photograph. Francis Marion Hotel Wedding: Katherine and Brian

I am so excited to share Katherine and Brian’s Francis Marion Hotel wedding from last weekend! (Although I probably could have given Katherine’s amazing shoes a blog post all by themselves…Jimmy Choo AND Manolo Blahnik? Yes Please). Charleston Engagement: Katie and Nick

After meeting the adorable Katie at the Engaging Events office, I walked away crossing my fingers that she would pick me as their photographer. (Spoiler alert: she did!) I was so excited to finally meet her fiancé Nick for their engagement session last week, and the two of them together had me laughing the entire time! Can’t wait for their summer wedding! 🙂
