Wild Cotton Photography

Tis the season for engagement sessions for Wild Cotton (3 this week!) and I love it. Wandering around with a couple and getting to know them is such a fun part of my job. I walked around Germantown with Kaitlin and Richie this past weekend and despite having to take a quick break at Barista Parlor (twist my arm 😉 ) because of some rain, they jumped right back in to the shoot like pros as soon as it stopped. Can’t wait for their wedding this fall!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tina and Ben at Kourtney and Matt’s wedding a few months ago. Little did I know, Ben would pop the question the next day and I got a happy email from them asking if I was available to photograph their wedding! 🙂 I had so much fun photographing them on some gorgeous land that has been in Ben’s family for many years. Tina had her adorable daughters join us for some of the shoot and they were too sweet! Happy Monday friends!

I had so much fun wandering around downtown Nashville this week with these two! Our session almost got cancelled due to some afternoon thunderstorms, but Matt and Kat patiently waited it out and we got clear skies right when it was time to start. Plus, I got the ultimate wedding photographer compliment- Matt said it actually was fun! Sometimes grooms think engagement shoots are going to be tedious/lame/boring/etc. but afterwards when they admit they actually enjoyed themselves I consider it a success. 😉
